Well, I am always amazed when I think about the complete set that Islam provides to live well. Since we open our eyes in the morning till we close it at night, there are sets of guidances how to do the actions. At first, I just follow them as the religious thingy that will not give any benefit for my life but the love from God. I failed to translate the love lat that time. Years ago, I just thought that God will give credit to me and I will take that credit later in the after life because I already do the religious things.
As a human, I develop my thoughts by reading, thinking, and processing information. What I found is the love of God not only will be shown in the hereafter but also will have effect for our lives in this world if we do things based on the manual books from God. If we obey the rules and stay away from prohibited things. The manual books are Quran and Hadits.
That's why the first verse was "Iqra" or read. Read the manual books, read the signs of nature, read everything and think how God has already provides everything and sets rules for our own lives. He Created us so He the only One knows what best for us, and He already sent us the manual books and now, our turn to operate well based on manual books. :)
You'll never fall in love with Islam if you don't want to learn the beauty of its true way of life.

Muslims and Islam: People and Religion
Nowadays, hatred is fly easily around the world. For some people, media never fail to reveal the truth. So that some terrorism actions were associated with Islam just because there were extremist that use religion as their masks for their political tools, or just because their names were Ahmed, Mohamed, they have beards, they wore burqas, etc.
Don't mix muslims and Islam and don't be stereotype. Muslims are people. They are human just like Christians, Jewish, atheists, etc. People do bad things sometimes. Meanwhile, Islam is the way of life, there are rules and they are perfectly designed for us as a guidance. If a muslim harm you, then it is because the person itself, not what Islam says.
If you see peeps wearing hijabs and do bad things, still, they are people who sometimes break rules. If you see a suicidal bom exploded and the person in charge was Mohamed, it doesn't mean Islam teaches him to do that. If Islam does ask us to do so, then, none of my non-muslims friends, teachers, and etc are still alive nowadays since I want so bad to be so religious. But, the truth, perhaps you are a Jewish, still can read my blog safely. Or there are many muslims and christians live well together.
Islam teaches us to NOT kill innocent people, to live well with our neighbours no matter what religion they believe, even when we cook a meal, prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, said to cook more and share it with neighbours, give the best part of everything to other people, etc.

A Big Privilege
I created this blog to share my thought about how I am so thankful everyday because I was born in a muslim family which I called it as a big privilege.
Being born as a muslim is one of the biggest gifts from Allah to me. As I believe Islam is the best way of life, at least since I come to this world, I have been learning many things about Islam and getting used to it, Never have I experienced a complicated and confusing search for a religion because I am already in it.
I do believe that every religion teaches to do good. But, to my own point of view, I just cannot accept a statement that says all religions are all the same. Nope. It doesn't make any sense for me. It is indeed that there is God and some people believe that we serve the same God in different ways.
However, my logical thinking is: there must be the best way to serve Him that God has already taught us towards His Messengers, the way that He approves because He is the Most Righteous.
Something is not right, for me, if God will consider the five-times-a-day prayer is the same as once-a-week-prayer.
Another logical thinking is, how come we can get into paradise without any specific terms and conditions. We might be kind people, but kind is not enough. We have to admit the existence of God to make Him grant us place in paradise. It is like the impossibility of getting a degree without following courses and rules in a school. At least we have to register, pay tuition fees, working on assignments, attending final exams, etc. Different school provides different methods, fees, rules which at the end will produce different graduate and degree. As simple as that.
So, I started thinking at a certain point of my life, which way of life that will bring me closer to God? Am I at the right one now? What are the proofs? And the result of my findings is that I fall in love with Islam everyday, how? Well, I will try to share what I know about Islam in every post here.
